Emcee Studios LED Wall Commercial | VFX Breakdown
LED Wall Installation for Emcee Studio, New York's latest commercial.
Brought to life using Unreal Engine and Houdini. I was Responsible for all the FX and the logo (3D).

Process
We collaborated with Emcee’s team to develop several concepts tailored for their LED wall in their new New York penthouse. The wall serves both as a visual installation and as the backdrop for Emcee’s latest advertisement.
Logo Balloon Sculpt Process
I started by adding stitches and creases to the balloon shape, using a combination of sculpting and spraying tools inside of Houdini.

One of the main client notes was to ensure the balloons matched a specific style: a Mylar balloon. I adjusted the balloon geometry to behave like a pressurized cloth and ran it through the Vellum Solver to inflate it, to get realistic deformation.

After inflating and shaping the balloons, I attached them to a string and ran multiple simulation variations. In some runs, the string was constrained to the ground; in others, it was free-floating or interacting with wind and nearby objects in space.
I exported Alembic caches for each simulation variant and brought them into Unreal Engine's movie sequencer, where I fine-tuned the motion and placement based on client feedback.
