Sentinel Force (Short Film)
A short clip from a short film I conceptualized, wrote the script for and animated, based on the idea of Dark Matter and Dark Energy that exists in the Universe. Completed in 2019. This particular shot involves using Maya's inbuilt particle simulation to generate and track smoke as well as using the particular plugin from RedGiant in After Effects to track and composite the second shot.
A short film that I worked on with a friend, I was solely responsible for this shot (modeling, animation, etc). This particular shot involves the use of Maya's particle system, as well as use of Arnold's textures with emission attributes to generate light emitting diodes in the atmosphere. Completed in second half of 2019.

Declaration of Love
Referenced How I met your mother, one of my favorite sitcoms that I like to watch. I spent a total of one month refining this animation from the character body animation to the lip sync and environment setup. Completed in Feb 2021.
Combat Animation - Body Mechanics
I referenced Jackie Chan's "Enter the Dragon" for the kicks. I spent a majority of my time smoothing my spline curves after blocking, to get smooth transitions between key poses. I also experimented with squashing and stretching to create smear frames to generate more interest in the character. Please visit my Artstation post to see the animation gifs from this 10 second animation.
Referenced myself picking up something that weighs a significant amount. Focused on body mechanics and an accurate depiction of weight on the prop. I spent around 20 days from start to finish on this particular animation. Completed in January 2021.
Referenced a video, where a person jumps from one cliff to another. Completed in January 2021.
I referenced The Animator's Survival Kit (2001) and Muybrige's Human and Animal Locomotion [Books] to reference poses and timing. Blocked out the rig for 8 keys and then mirrored the animation for the other side. Completed in December 2020.
An experimental 2D film animated in Toon Boom Harmony, frame by frame. The film starts off with Jonah being chased by an orb. He is seen running away from the orb and when he realizes that there is no way to outrun it, he tries hitting it. After that fails he accidently falls into a hole, and goes back up another hole which transports him to another place. As a last attempt at running out the orb, he tries to get on higher ground and manages to climb the world tree in front of him. The orb still tracks him down, and he succumbs to touching the orb because he has realized that there is no way he can outrun it. He transforms into a yellow planet as soon as he touches the orb and becomes a part of the universe. The whole film can be summarized in a quote by Carl Sagan. "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself" The films concept is basically a play on this quote, we are born in the universe and we die a part of the universe. A person no matter how small or big, is a part of the universe and hence it was time for Jonah to manifest himself into the yellow planet like others had did before him.
